Nicola was born on May 3, 1984 in Cagliari. He studied at the conservatory of music ( since very early years ) and frequented private schools of music instructed by Opera singers. His vocal talent was bare when he was 13. He studied and got in touch with genres of music different from classical music, like rock, blues, jazz, soul and metal music on all and started singing with local rock and metal bands.
In the first months of 2006 is completed his first cd titled “Since Before Creation” where Nicola sings pop, rock, metal, gospel, soul, rhythm and blues songs and his official website is online at www.nicolasedda.com . In 2007 he met U.S. producer Dennis Sawyer (TETRAGRAM RECORDS USA). The same year he met Daniele Liverani, Italian polyinstrumentalist known worldwide, and they worked together for an Italian Tour in 2008 (performing on the most exclusive stages such as legendary ROLLING STONE’s stage in Milan).
In 2009 Nicola signed a deal with the italian record label TOP MUSIC and thanks to producer Bruno Pietrobelli “Since Before Creation” is available on the most important online digital stores ( iTunes, Napster, Amazon, Nokia Music Store and many others ) since April 2009.
After almost 4 years, Nicola’s long awaited new album NICOTOMIA is ready to be realized but due to problems with production/distribution not available yet. From the album has been chosen the single “No Compromise”, available in 2010, which includes the first track from NICOTOMIA. This single includes the cover of the famous song “All By Myself” and the rehearsal version of Nicola’s song “I Wasn’t Scared” but they won’t be included in NICOTOMIA’s track list. It’s only in 2014 that, solved all the problems with label and production, NICOTOMIA is ready to be released. To present the album, that has changed a lot from the first unreleased version, Nicola has decided to produce COLORS, a new Mini Album of 4 tracks that has not been included in NICOTOMIA’s track list ( except the song “Since you have gone” available in the album in a remixed version ), out on January 31st, 2014.
NICOTOMIA is out on January 15th 2015, available on CD only due to the extreme frequencies ( ultrasounds ) recorded.
